METER ATTENDANT - 2 POSITIONS (CENTRAL & WESTERN)

The positions will be based at the Energy Fiji Limited’s Head Office (Suva) and Navutu Depot (Lautoka) will report to the Team Leader Revenue Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read meters and enter the energy consumption figures in the meter sheet;
  • Disconnect overdue customer accounts as tagged by the system using disconnection mode authorized by the authority;
  • Check that meters are not tampered or damaged;
  • Check that disconnected meters have not been reconnected without proper authorization and also check seals on service fuse box are intact;
  • Note the correction of meter locations to be in sequence for what is in the field and the meter book;
  • Comply with the Fleet Manual Policy for the use of the EFL vehicle for the purposes of meter reading and disconnection of overdue accounts;
  • Comply with all Processes for Meter Reading and Disconnection;
  • Carry out any other duties assigned by the Team Leader Revenue Services.

Key Requirements:

  • The incumbent should have at least a very good pass in the Fiji School Leaving Certificate with good marks in English and Mathematics;
  • Incumbents with Electrical background will have an added advantage;
  • A valid Group two (not provisional) driver’s license is mandatory.
