PREPAYMENT METERING ADMINISTRATOR (CENTRAL)

The position will be based at the EFL’s Head Office and will report to Metering Coordinator Central.
Key Responsibilities:
- Removal of customer from meter reading schedules and change of code to Prepayment on Gentrack
- Configure the appropriate tariff for the new prepayment meter customers by calculating the average monthly energy use for the previous three months during post-paid and allocating the appropriate tariff
- Interface with customers and Vodafone and Digicel Prepayment vending – dealing with customer complaints and liaising with field staff on attending to customer
- Process meter change forms and coordinate the input of prepayment meter numbers to the appropriate customer to allow the customer to purchase electricity tokens.
- Complete documentation of Prepayment Meter
- Assist in the implementation of any new system process for the Prepayment process.
- Initiate Blocking of customer purchase due to non-payment of outstanding post-paid
- Run sales, sales recovery and installation statistic reports
- Monitor and analyze monthly customer transactions to identify pilferage cases and calculate amount to be paid for pilferage cases. Carry out sales recovery calculation.
- Ensure that the Vodafone and Digicel Prepayment vending system and Syntel prepayment system is fully functional at all times.
- Carry out customer visitation and awareness campaigns.
- Be responsible of all sales recovery file storage and record keeping
- Generate monthly reports
- Carry out any other delegated duties assigned by Unit Leader Technical Services
Key Requirements:
- The candidate must have a Degree in Accounting / Information Systems or a Diploma in Business Studies/Information Technology from a recognized tertiary institution with a minimum of three (3) years experience in a similar role.
- Experience with Prepayment system would be advantageous.
- A valid Group 2 (not provisional) driver’s license would be of advantage.
