REVENUE SERVICES OFFICER - (CENTRAL)

The position will be based at the EFL’s Head Office in Suva and will report to the Team Leader Revenue Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Input and validate Meter reading data on a daily basis;
- Will populate data for the daily update of the Meter Control Sheet;
- Carry out meter reading and disconnection error enquiries from Billing Services section and/or customers;
- Run and print CFI report and monitor implementation by the Meter readers and update system accordingly;
- Deliver bills pull out for selected and other corporate clients;
- Organize disconnection of dishonored cheques and update system accordingly;
- Attend to .Reconnection Service orders and close SOA promptly and on daily basis;
- Liaise with Contact Centre on over 24 hours reconnection report and ensure no reconnection remains overdue beyond the 24 hours guideline;
- Update Gen track system customer data base on Meter reader comments of meter status and other related information;
- Monitor implementation of Meter reading, Disconnection and Reconnection schedule;
- Attend to enquiries forward by Customer services and Contact center;
- Populate Revenue Services template for production of Revenue Services reports and other statistical requirements on daily and monthly basis;
- Organize monthly reports to be submitted to the Team Leader;
- Ensure all Health and Safety regulations are complied with and risks are identified and mitigated to avoid accidents at the same time;
- Apart from the duties listed above the RSO will be assigned specific functions relating to either of the following areas within Revenue Services: Reconnections, Billing and Debtors
- Collect Meter sheets and enter all anomalies on Excel;
- Any other duties assigned by the Team Leader Revenue Services.
Key Requirements:
- A Diploma in Business Studies, Accounting or Economics;
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role;
- Applicants with experience in the Gentrack Billing system will be an advantage;
- Applications must have sound knowledge in Microsoft applications software.
