Carry out Legal Review of FIDIC Contract Document for EFL’s three Major Projects

The Energy Fiji Limited (EFL) is a limited liability company established under the Companies Act (2015) of Fiji. It is responsible for the generation, transmission and retail of electricity on the islands of Viti Levu, Vanua Levu, Ovalau and Taveuni.

Energy Fiji Limited, (EFL) is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from suitably qualified Legal Firms for carrying out a legal review of FIDIC Contract Documents for three of its major projects.

The Expression of Interest (EOI) document detailing the scope of services required will be available from the EFL TENDERLINK PORTAL and EFL WEBSITE from Monday 27th January 2020.

The EOI submissions are to be fully uploaded into the tender box provided in the TenderLink portal before this stipulated time.

The appointed law firm shall meet the following criteria as a minimum:

  • Have an established office in Fiji and must have been operating for a minimum of 15 years in legal practice.
  • Must have two or more senior registered legal practitioners who are members of the Bar (admitted to practice as Barristers and Solicitors of the High Court of Fiji) and the Law Society of Fiji.
  • The bidder’s senior registered legal practitioners must be resident full time in Fiji and be available to commence work on this project immediately following appointment.
  • Must have successfully provided full contract review and / or contract drafting services based on the FIDIC Yellow Book and the FIDIC White Book general conditions of contract.
  • Must provide 3 referees for the FIDIC contract work performed.
  • Must provide the relevant business registrations, professional certifications, insurances and statutory compliance documents at the time of EOI bid submission.
