EXISTING AND PROSPECTIVE OVERHEAD POWER LINE CONSTRUCTION, UNDERGROUND CABLING CONSTRUCTION AND VEGETATION MANAGEMENT CONTRACTORS

Energy Fiji Limited (EFL) invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified and experienced contractors for the provision of Overhead Power Line Construction, Underground Cabling Construction, and Vegetation Management Services. This EOI is aimed at both existing and prospective contractors to partner with EFL in delivering essential services that will help meet the Government of Fiji’s goal of ensuring 100% electricity access to all citizens by 2026. The Company encourages registered electrical contractors who wish to enter into this arena of business, to register their interest.

The projects involve the following key components;

1. Construction and maintenance of overhead power lines to extend grid connectivity to rural and remote areas.
2. Installation of underground cabling to new and existing customers in urban and high-density regions.
3. Vegetation management services to maintain safe clearances around power lines and prevent power outages on EFL grid.

Upon receipt of the Expressions of Interest, the EFL plans to hold an information dissemination seminar to brief potential or interested parties on the way forward and the necessary requirements for them to qualify as power line construction contractor, underground cabling contractor and/or vegetation management contractor.

This EOI closes at 4.00pm Wednesday, 30^th October, 2024.
