Solicitation of Payment from Our Valued Customers

The Energy Fiji Limited (EFL) has received reports of people claiming to be EFL employees and soliciting payments from our customers with the promise of:

  1. Connection of portable generators.
  2. Prompt re-connection of EFL grid supply electricity.

The EFL advises our valued customers to refrain from giving cash to any EFL employee or to any member of the public claiming to be an EFL employee who is willing to carry out the two abovementioned activities. Furthermore, please utilize the services of a licensed Electrical Contractor should you wish to connect a portable generator.

Should you come across this situation, please report the matter immediately to the nearest Police Station or to the EFL Contact Centre on 132333.
