Disconnection & Reconnection
Important Information – Disconnection Notice
If your electricity account remains overdue and unpaid, this will leave EFL no choice but to disconnect your power supply. Reconnection will be made once the overdue amount is settled in full. If you have paid this amount when receiving the disconnection notice, please contact EFL immediately on 132-333. A reconnection fee of $9.50 will be debited to your account and will appear in your next bill.
Immediate reconnection upon making payment after 3pm from Monday to Friday has an after hour’s reconnection fee of $14.20 that will be debited to your account. Reconnections on Saturday for accounts paid after 3pm on Friday and for accounts paid on Saturday will be charged $14.20 and debited to your account.
Please note that if your payment is received before 3pm:
On the day of disconnection, your power supply will be reconnected within 24hrs of payment.
On weekends or on a Public Holiday, your power supply will be reconnected on the next business day.
The reconnection of power supply within 24hrs depends on the following:
Time when you settle your outstanding electricity bill.
Availability of resources.
Weather conditions (if there is inclement weather conditions)
After making payments, at any EFL payment outlet apart from the EFL Cashiers, please advise our Contact Centre on 132-333 with your receipt number.
Your security deposit may also be reviewed in line with the Electricity Act.
Working Hours: Cashiers: Monday to Thursday [7:30am – 4:00pm] and Friday [7:30am – 3.30pm].
