The positions will be based at the Energy Fiji Limited’s Kinoya Depot and will report to the Managers & designated section heads.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the Planning and coordination of maintenance of EFL Generators
• Assist Team Leaders with the restocking of spare parts for EFL Power Stations
• Assist in processing of Tenders and Evaluation of Tenders
• Monitor fault reports from Power Stations;
• Assist with the maintenance/overhaul and re-commissioning of Generators
• Assist with new installation and commissioning of Generators as and when assigned by Managers;
• Assist in manpower planning and budgets preparations for the Department;
• Update self with layout and types of Generators used in the EFL Grid
• Liaise and coordinate with other departments to ensure successful completion of work assignments;
• Maintain HS legislative requirements of both EFL and Government. Promote safety by compiling and maintaining work procedures;
• Update self with the latest industry developments and apply relevant learnings to improve Generator performance;
• Undergo on the job training and attain authorization in Categories A, B, C, F;
• Perform other work assignment that may not be related to the above requirement as assigned by Managers.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University, with membership or eligibility for membership of recognized Electrical Engineering Institutions;
• A valid driving license is required.
• The Candidate will be required to sign a bond
