Electricity Tariffs and Rates

The Commerce Commission has approved a new determination of the electricity tariff rates that will be implemented on the 1st of Oct 2019. All rates are VAT exclusive.

To ensure you select the appropriate tariff for your business requirements please read the summary information with each tariff. Only if you’ve operated in your current tariff for more than 12months can you then request a change to your current tariff.

The tariffs are based on a 415/240 volt supply and if your business requires a high-voltage service please contact us.

Small Business Tariff  This tariff is for any business with a Maximum Demand that is less than 75kW
Maximum Demand Tariff   This tariff is for any business with a Maximum Demand that is more than 75kW
Other Tariffs These tariffs are for institutions and street light customers
