VAC 67/24 - CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE - REGULATORY & LICENSING (CENTRAL)

The position will be based at the Energy Fiji Limited’s Head Office, Suva and will report to the Regulatory Compliance & Licensing Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accessing, updating and analysing database (manual and electronic) system of current electrical license contractors, and wireman license holders;
  • Photocopying, typing, filing and other relevant clerical duties relevant to licensing;
  • Lodging receipt of license applications & electrical appliances/equipment for approval and certification by Chief  Inspector;
  • Analysis of Contractor performance via Inspection data and updating report and follow up of defect notices;
  • Liaising with Customer Services department on daily dispatches and renewing of contracting/electrical licenses;
  • Answer enquires from customers and electrical contractors on daily work schedules; 
  • Assist in field duties for regulatory field teams when required for urgent faults & requests as and when required;
  • Create permits and new accounts for new power supply applicants as and when required;
  • Update and enter license information into Gentrack Billing System in a regular basis;
  • Assistance and facilitation of applications for Wireman’s Licence and/or Electrical Contractor License certifications and renewals;
  • Filling requisition forms for purchase stationery, equipment and products as and when required;
  • Carry out any other work delegated by the Manager Regulatory and/or Regulatory Compliance Licensing Co-ordinator.

Key Requirements:

  • A Diploma in Business Administration or Applied Computing from a recognized tertiary institution;
  • At least two years’ experience in a similar role;
  • Excellent PC skills and must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
